SNSD‘s Sooyoung and Tiffany transform into antique dolls for the December edition of ‘Vogue Korea‘.

These photos were taken by the famous photographer Jo Sun Hee and have a sophisticated fairytale theme. Professional model Kim Won Joong acted as a toy soldier for the pictorial.  The girls gave off a ‘model vibe’ with the help of their sophisticated clothes and makeup.

Kim Soo Hyun and Han Chae Young become a dangerous pair for ‘Marie Claire’

Actors Kim Soo Hyun and Han Chae Young have tapped into their respective L’homme/femme fatalecharms in their recent pictorial for Marie Claire magazine.

Kim Soo Hyun aims to showcase a more mature side to his image through his upcoming works for 2012. He’s moved past the boy-next-door look from ‘Dream High‘ to tackle more serious roles in the drama, “The Moon That Covered the Sun“, as well as the movie, “Thieves“.

His maturity was reflected in his poses and expressions, as he exuded a subtle, yet undeniably magnetic appeal. His chemistry with Han Chae Young in particular drew especial praise from staff on set.

A representative on set said, “The result of each pictorial depends on the actors’ ability to tell a story. Kim Soo Hyun is one of the few Korean actors who are able to do that. In particular, in the photos where they are gazing at each other, he portrayed the feeling of tension that is about to burst. I was amazed at how the two actors became more and more immersed in the story with each picture.”

Kim Soo Hyun will be returning to television next year with his new MBC drama, “The Moon That Covered the Sun”, which will begin airing in January.

Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha shows off her figure in Marie Claire magazine

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Narsha has teamed up with Levi’s Bodywear for a photoshoot with Marie Clairemagazine.

Form-fitting Levi’s undergarments got paired with jeans, black boots, and a denim jacket, resulting in a sexy ‘bad-girl’ look. Her vibrant red lips top off the effect.

Narsha’s flawless figure in the pictorial only seemed to prove that the praise given by trainer Sean Lee(in which Narsha was said to have the ideal body) wasn’t just conjecture.

An observer stated, “Narsha gave off an alluring vibe that was different from the image she usually shows on air, in addition to [showcasing] her perfect body.”

Wonder Girls member Yubin transformed into a blonde!

Wonder Girls member Yubin transformed into a blonde on the pictorial for Singles Magazine. Designed by Yubin herself, she portrayed her own version of "Mathilda", the female character of 90’s movie "Leon".

In the pictorial, Yubin exuded her fierce and sassy aura with her blonde hairstyle and smoky dark makeup. She looked stunningly gorgeous on her elegant one piece dress with 30cm killer heels while making her alluring poses on a bed.

A Singles representative stated, "The concept was Yubin’s own idea. Yubin was lauded by the staff because she kept coming up with bright new ideas."

Starship Entertainment artists celebrate a great year with ‘ELLE Girl’

   SISTAR, K.Will, Boyfriend, and 11 other artists from Starship Entertainment came together recently to shoot a pictorial for ‘ELLE Girl‘ magazine, honoring the end of a fantastic year.

The concept for the pictorial was ‘Party‘, which was highly emphasized by the artists’ relaxed poses and sleek attire. SISTAR dressed up colorful outfits, while Boyfriend showed off their good looks in fitted suits.

In their accompanying interview, the artists shared their personal thoughts about their fellow labelmates. Boyfriend’s Dong Hyun complimented K.Will with, “It was K.Will hyung who first taught me how to sing. He is like a teacher to me.”

Meanwhile, Boyfriend’s Hyunseong surprised fans when he revealed that his ideal type is none other than SISTAR’s Bora. “My ideal woman is someone who is friendly and can understand me well.  I think Bora noona is the most approachable.  She takes care of her juniors,” he said. Smiling, SISTAR’s Soyu expressed that she felt glad for the chance to meet up with her labelmates. “We don’t have many opportunities to meet like this because everyone is busy with their activities, but I feel like we are one family today.”

Finally, Starship Entertainment representatives commented, “We believe Starship’s artists were able to wrap up the year very well due to the love received from our fans.  We thank those fans who show their continuing support. There will be a surprise gift in the near future.”

 Korea’s figure-skating queen Kim Yuna has delivered an impressive pictorial for Harper’s Bazaarmagazine.

Harper’s December issue introduced a special edition with three different versions of her cover. From the crimson background and smoky-eye makeup to the chic hat on her head, Kim Yuna embodied an enigmatic charisma in the first version. In the second, she looks fantastic in a fur ensemble, which brought out her natural elegance. In the last, she emphasizes her figure with a dress and long boot in a pose fit only for high fashion.

 Girl group Rainbow has delivered a stunning pictorial with ‘SURE‘ magazine!

The concept for this month’s photoshoot was ‘party girl‘. The members went for a more sophisticated twist on sexy by wearing opulent jewelry, richly colored make-up, and glamorous dresses — resulting in a look that matched the environment of a top tier party.

According to a ‘SURE’ staff representative, “With the entire staff, including all 7 members of Rainbow, it was going to be a tough task to maintain order with everyone. Thus, we were concerned that the set was going to be chaotic. However, thanks to Rainbow’s cheerful personality and aegyo, everything went well and we were able to create a hot pictorial.”

f(x)’s Victoria bundles up for ‘Marie Claire Korea’

  In light of the upcoming winter season, f(x) leader Victoria has bundled up (fashionably, of course) for Marie Claire Korea‘s December issue.

Dressed to meet the weather while bringing out her femininity, the singer pulled off a style that was both practical and cute. Her whimsical hairstyle lent a sense of innocence to the shots, while her alluring eyes captivated the viewer.

A staff member from the shoot noted, “Victoria is a natural fashionista and has a very professional mentality so she was able to deliver fitting poses and the concept with ease. She impressed everyone on set that day.”

SNSD's Yonna reveals her hair secret

SNSD‘s YoonA, who is currently the endorsement model for “Innisfree“, has revealed her hair care secrets utilizing the brand’s latest product, “Camellia Sun Hair Mist.”

Due to the their frequent need to change their hairstyles with dyes and perms to match the style concepts for their songs, singers must take care of their hair and scalp meticulously.

YoonA began by revealing that she massages her scalp with her fingers in order to rid of all of the oils. She also makes sure to rinse her hair multiple times so that there is no more shampoo or conditioner left and closes off with a cold water rinse to maintain healthy silky hair.
